Vermox????
40 or so years ago there was a shot that was so bad it was usually outlawed in drinking games. Now I find that nobody has heard of it. I'm not sure of the spelling, but I think it was Vermox. If you google vermox you get a worm medicine but not anything that would be in a bar. I remember that Vermox was like a really strong vermouth and was actually sold for a stomach remedy, but it was in all the cheap bars back then. If I remember correctly, it had pieces of herbs or something floating in it. Have you ever heard of it? It is REALLY nasty. Maybe my spelling is wrong.

I do remember it and am on a quest to find it, if it still exists. A friend of mine revealed that he got the last bottle that a watering hole in DePere, WI had in the mid 1980's I know I've seen it since then.

The bowling alley in Mishicot still serves it. The bottles are probably 30-40 years old, but if you really need a taste you should stop in.
